Another disappointing day all round

Not a great weekend…

Presteigne St Andrews FC had another disappointing Saturday afternoon on 5 December as both the first team and the Reserves were beaten.

In the Spar Mid Wales League, second division, the first team simply had now answer to the Bettws player Barry Bellis who scored all four of his side’s goals as Mark Weiland’s side went down 4-2.

Justin Davies was on target twice for Presteigne, but Mark made it clear to the squad that the attitude of some players had left a fair bit to be desired.

As for the Reserves, they were beaten 2-1 at Brecon Northcote in their Mid Wales League (South) game.

I don’t as yet have any details on the Ressies’ goalscorer but, as soon as I do, these will be added as, indeed, will any report I receive from the management team.

So, not our finest weekend ever, but we will doubtless regroup and go again on Saturday, 12 December when the first team will host Four Crosses at Llanandras Park and the Reserves will head to Llanidloes Town Reserves.
