It’s the first home game in a month for the Reserves.

Presteigne Reserves will be the centre of attention this weekend when they host Brecon Northcote in a Mid Wales League (South) fixture on Saturday, 26 March.

With no game for the first team, the Reserves will be hoping for a good turn out of supporters to get behind them as they play their first home game for a month.

The Ressies will be in good heart after they picked up a very creditable point from a 2-2 draw at Newcastle in their last outing.

As for Brecon Northcote, they had the better of the first meeting between the sides earlier in the season when they were 2-1 winners.

In terms of the respective league positions, Presteigne Reserves are two places and four points better off than the visitors.

But that position doesn’t tell the full story as Northcote had three points deducted earlier in the season, so it might prove that there is actually little between the clubs.

Admission to the game at Llanandras Park will be the usual £2.00 for adults and £1.00 for senior citizens and youngsters under the age of 16.
