My thanks to club secretary Tom Ammonds and first-team manager Mark Weiland for updating me on the revised schedule for pre-season matches.
We were originally due to be heading to Bartestree for a game on Tuesday, 19 July, but that match has been called off for a variety of reasons, but mainly player availability.
On Thursday, 21 July, the Reserves will play a pre-season game at Orleton where the kick off will be at 7.00pm.
Then, it will be on to Saturday, 23 July when Presteigne St Andrews will head to Ewyas Harold for a ‘double-header’ in which both the first team and the Reserves will take on their counterparts from the Herefordshire club.
Kick off times for the games at Ewyas Harold will be posted when they come to hand but this should prove a useful workout for both sides.
