The build up to the new season continues apace and it is the Reserves who will be next into action.
Tom Ammonds will take his squad to Orleton on Thursday, 21 July where the kick off will be at 7.00pm.
While most of the focus so far has understandably be on the first team’s preparations for the challenges ahead, it will be interesting to see how the Reserves are shaping up.
The Mid Wales League (South) season will start later than the Spar Mid Wales League so it’s worth remembering that the Reserves are not as far sown the line with their pre-season as the first team.
While I don’t have details on the strength of the squad Tom is planning on taking to Orleton, it’s a fair bet that it could be something of a ‘mix and match’ squad due to other commitments, not least of which is the Royal Welsh Show.
A reminder, then, that if you are planning on heading to Orleton for this one then the kick off will be at 7.00pm.
It is hoped to have the result of the game up online at some stage either on Thrusday evening or Friday with, hopefully, a few thoughts from Tom to go with it.
