Once again, the recent heavy rain has put paid to any chance of football as the scheduled match at Newbridge-on-Wye in the Spar Mid Wales League on Saturday, 27 January has been called off.
Club secretary Tom Ammonds had serious doubts during the run up to the game and these came to fruition.
Things haven’t got any better in the final 24 hours or so in the lead up to the scheduled kick off and so the match has been postponed.
We will let you know of a rearranged date just as soon as one comes to hand.
The first team are due to return to action on Saturday, 3 February when they will head to Montgomery Town.
The Reserves were due to be at home on 27 January – but their game against Llandrindod Wells Reserves was also called off after the ground failed a pitch inspection on Saturday morning.
