Presteigne Reserves will host Feindre in the Mid Wales League (South) on Thursday, 3 May.

This will be the final ‘home’ game of the season for the Reserves although – technically – this is an away fixture.

The original away fixture at Felindre was abandoned after the Reserves’ joint-manager Mark Weiland broke his leg while playing in goal.

But Felindre informed both ourselves and the league that their ground was unavailable for the rescheduled fixture and so it will now be played at Llanandras Park.

Felindre returned to the Mid Wales League (South) this season after a long absence from local football and, while they struggled early on when they were on the wrong end of  some heavy defeats, there is no doubt they have improved as the season has progressed.

This will be the last home game for the Reserves in the league this season and it should also serve as a very useful warm up for the Pip Samuel (Electrical) Cup final in which they will take on Rhayader Town at Builth Wells FC on Sunday, 6 May.

Admission prices for the Felindre game will be £2.00 for adults and £1.00 for senior citizens and youngsters under the age of 16.  The kick off on Thursday evening will be at 7.30pm
