Both Presteigne St Andrews FC and Presteigne Reserves will be in league action on Saturday, 22 September.

Shaun Harris will hopefully have new striker Curtis Williams in the squad for the MMP with Norman Lloyd league second-division game against Montgomery Town.

After the demise of Brecon Northcote earlier in the week saw their record expunged from the records, this sadly means Presteigne are still looking for their first league win of the season.

Montgomery have made a very good start to the season and they are currently top of the second-division table.

Monty are unbeaten so far and so this is promising to be another good test for the first team.

As for the Reserves, they are on the road when they will head to Lant Field to take on Builth Wells Reserves.

After an encouraging start to the Mid Wales League (South) campaign, the Reserves have picked up only one point from the last six and so the management team of Mark Weiland and Alan Stocker will be looking for them to pick things up in this one.

There is only one point between the sides in the table with Builth having lost only once in the league so far this season.

Here’s hoping it proves a productive weekend for both sides.

The kick off at Llanandras Park for the first-team game will be at 2.30pm with admission prices being the usual £3.00 for adults; £1.50 for senior citizens and £1.00 for youngsters under the age of 16.
