Club officials – including Bryn Roberts who is a qualified referee – have been down to Llanandras Park to take a look at the playing surface ahead of the scheduled Central Wales Cup fixture against Hay St Mary’s on Friday, 12 October.
While the pitch is very wet with standing water in areas of the goalmouths, it is said to be ‘fifty-fifty’ at the moment and so they will take another look later in the afternoon.
Officials at Hay St Mary’s and the Central Wales FA have been sent images of the pitch so both parties are fully across what is happening.
We suspect the likelihood of the game going ahead will largely depend on how much rain falls in the next few hours.
