Presteigne St Andrews FC’s scheduled Central Wales Cup first-round tie against Hay St Mary’s on Friday, 12 October has been postponed.
To be fair, club officials have given this one every chance, but there is standing water in the goalmouths while other parts of the pitch are also said to be very wet.
We have liaised with both the Central Wales FA’s Alan Randell and officials at Hay St Mary’s FC throughout and we would like to thank them for their cooperation regarding this.
It’s anticipated the match will now be played next weekend but this is yet to be confirmed and is dependent on a number of other factors.
As soon as we have a new date for the tie we will post the details on the website.
So, there will be no football for our sides this weekend as the Reserves were due to have a blank weekend anyway.
