FAW Trophy action at Llanandras Park this weekend

Presteigne St Andrews FC will enter this season’s FAW Trophy on Saturday, 14 September when they will host Caersws at Llanandras Park.

The kick off for this one will be at 2.30pm and we are grateful to club President Edward Traylor who has kindly sponsored this match.

This will clearly be a tough test for Terry Williams’ side as Caersws play their league football a level higher than Presteigne in the MMP with Norman Lloyd League, division one.

Caersws have made a solid start to their league campaign with four wins from their opening six league games.

In their most recent league outing they came away from Builth Wells with a 2-0 victory so they’ll not be lacking confidence going into this one.

With there being no game for the Reserves this weekend it’s hoped there will be a good crowd there to get behind the side, while Terry Williams should have a decent pool of players from which to select for this one.

So, if you are at a loose end on Saturday afternoon and you fancy taking in some football, Llanandras Park is the place to be.

A reminder that the kick off will be at 2.30pm and extra time and penalties will come into play should the need arise.

The admission prices will be the usual £3.00 for adults; £1.50 for senior citizens and £1.00 for youngsters under the age of 16.
