Presteigne St Andrews FC will be back in action on Tuesday, 15 October when they will host Aberystwyth University at Llanandras Park.
This MMP with Norman Lloyd League, second division match is due to kick off at 7.30pm.
Of course, it’s sometimes difficult to gauge the strength of the College side and they certainly struggled in the league las season.
But the early signs are they are likely to be much more competitive this time around – they have one win and two draws from their opening three league matches.
The victory came in the shape of a 4-1 home success against Knighton Town in their opening game of the season while they have also picked up useful away draws at Rhayader Town and Churchstoke.
So, they will arrive at Llanandras Park for their customary midweek visit in pretty good heart.
But here’s hoping the first team can raise their game for this one and upset the form book by picking up the three points on offer.
So, it will be a 7.30pm kick off for this one and the admission prices will the usual £3.00 for adults; £1.50 for senior citizens and £1.00 for youngsters under the age of 16.
