Friday-night action for the Reserves

If you are at a loose end on Friday evening (31 January) then why not pop down to Llanandras Park and take in the Reserves’ game?

Bryn Roberts’ side will host Llanidloes Town Reserves in a Mid Wales League (South) fixture which is due to kick off at 7.30pm.

It’s fair to say the Ressies could do with something of a lift as they have been struggling for form in the league this season and currently sit second-from-bottom of the table.

But they will know this is likely to be tough as – after the runaway leaders and champions-elect Brecon Corries – Llanidloes Reserves are the best of the rest.

They are currently second in the table and have scored four times in each of their last three league matches.

So, this could prove a taxing evening for the Reserves but the hope is that – with no first-team game scheduled for this weekend – Bryn will, at least, have plenty of numbers from which to select.

Here’s hoping the Reserves can come up with the goods in this one – if you are heading down to the ground, a reminder the admission charges will be the usual £2.00 for adults and £1.00 for senior citizens and youngsters under the age of 16.
