Presteigne Reserves were beaten 6-2 by visiting Llanidloes Town Reserves in their Mid Wales League (South) game at Llanandras Park on Friday, 31 January.

The Reserves started pretty brightly in this one and took the lead, only for Llanidloes Reserves to level the game before the interval.

But the Reserves were undone in the second half as Llani’s Reserves were to take the game away from them.

In all honesty, this had the look of a difficult game as Llanidloes Reserves have been going well this season.

But the Reserves will probably take some heart from their first-half showing in this one and here’s hoping they can build on this in the coming games.

Their next Mid Wales League (South) fixture will be on Friday, 7 February when they will host Hay St Mary’s at Llanandras Park in a 7.30pm kick off.
