Presteigne Reserves found the leaders of the five-team Mid Wales League (South) too strong when they met at Llanandras Park on Saturday, 4 February.
Newcastle headed home to south Shropshire with a five-one victory.
It was Newcastle’s second win at Llanandras Park this season after they were three-one victors over the Reserves on 3 December.
Presteigne’s young squad reportedly worked hard throughout this one and played some nice football when they had the chance.
But no doubt Roy Simcock will keep them working hard and here’s hoping their fortunes turn quickly and they start picking up a win or two.
