All three senior sides in action

shane_suttonAll three of Presteigne St Andrews’ senior sides have important games on Saturday 3 October and all three will feel they have a point to prove after disappointing results in their last outings.

The first team will host second-placed Tywyn Bryncrug in a Spar Mid Wales League match at Llanandras Park.   Manager Tim Broome has been forced into at least two changes due to unavailabilities but will be looking for a positive response following the disappointments of the home defeat by Bow Street in the last outing.

A full preview of the first team game is on the first team page of the site and the kick off at Llanandras Park will be at 2.30pm.

The Reserves have not played since their 3-0 Mid Wales League (South) defeat at Rhayader Reserves and manager Barry Williams will be impressing on his side the need to pick up players at set pieces as this proved their undoing at the Weirglodd.

Again, a preview of this game including team news is available on the Reserves page of the site.

For CP Llanandras it will be cup action as they will host Corris United in the first round of the Emrys Morgan Cup at John Beddoes School field.

Again, all the team news and information needed about this game can be found on CP Llanandras’ page on the site, but manager Andy Crowe is hoping to have at least one new face in the squad as he tries to turn things around after a recent tough run of games.

The kick off in this one will again be at 2.30pm.

A reminder that ‘Slurred’ will be on stage in the clubhouse from 7.30pm on Saturday evening and tickets are still available, price £10.00.   For more information on ‘Slurred’ and where you can get the tickets, check out the Social Events page.
