After a request from the thriving Junior section of Presteigne St Andrews FC, I am pleased to say we have now been able to add a page devoted to their activities to the club website.
My thanks to John Bright who has agreed to act as a link between the various junior teams and myself on the website and also to the Junior section chairman Alun Crichton for supplying an introduction to junior football.
If you take a look at the introductory article as supplied by Alun the most striking thing for me is the amount of teams the junior section is running and the amount of work a lot of people are putting in to ensure youngsters get a game.
Any managers of junior teams who feel they have information they would like on the website should get in touch with ‘Brighty’ and he will then pass it on to me or if it is urgent then email the site and I will pick it up from there.
If you can include a photograph or two with your articles this would clearly help as we can then use these to better illustrate the stories when they go up online.
In the meantime, the best of luck to all of the junior teams this season – let’s hope there is plenty of good news to report.
