Thanks to the cooperation of managers Barry Williams and Andy Crowe, the match reports from the weekend games are now up on the teams’ respective pages of the site.

The first team found Carno a tough nut to crack on their own ground and they were forced to defend for long periods of the 2-0 defeat.

Possibly the most worrying aspect of this game was the fact Barry’s side conceded yet another penalty – the seventh time in the last four games they have witnessed a referee pointing to the spot against them.

But there was no faulting the side’s workrate and Max Powell might have reduced arrears right at the death.

Meanwhile, the Reserves picked up a point from a 2-2 draw at home to Llandrindod Wells Reserves and then saw them off in extra-time for a 3-2 victory and a place in the Builth Spa Cup final on Sunday 1 May.

Mike Lewis netted the winning goal in the ‘double up’ game as the sides looked to avoid any unnecessary end-of-season fixture congestion.

Saturday 30 April will see the first team host Penparcau, but the Reserves will now be without a game as Bronllys’ pitch is unavailable (see below).
