Just a reminder that the coming week will be a particularly busy one for the club as we hold both the Annual Dinner and Awards Evening and the Annual General Meeting.
First things first – the Dinner will take place at the clubhouse on Saturday 4 June and if you haven’t yet ordered your ticket but are planning on being there you need to get hold of chairman Alan Randell or vice-chairman Dot Griffiths about five minutes ago…
It should be a good night – they generally are – and it would be good to see as many players and their partners as possible at the event.
The tickets are £20.00 and Jean Burgoyne will be providing the food with music, dancing and no doubt the odd drink or two to follow.
Then, on Thursday 9 June the club will be holding its Annual General Meeting to which all are welcome.
There are a number of key posts that will need filling this year so anyone who feels like joining the committee and helping out in this regard will be very welcome.
Those attending the dinner are reminded the chairman has requested everyone is there for 7.00pm for a 7.30pm sit down for the meal.
The Annual General Meeting is due to get underway at 7.30pm with the Social Club AGM due to follow immediately afterwards.
