Midweek trip to the Broadway for the first team

Presteigne St Andrews FC
The first team will play Llan'dod twice in as many weeks

Presteigne St Andrews FC face a tough-looking trip to Radnorshire rivals Llandrindod Wells on Wednesday, 21 March.

The Spa club has regrouped in recent seasons and is looking a good bet to win the Spar Mid Wales League, second division crown this season.

Their home form is particularly impressive – they have won eight of their 11 home matches so far this season and have games in hand over most of their rivals with the notable exception of Aberaeron.

Presteigne supporters will need no reminding of Llan’dod’s capabilities after the Broadway-based club thumped Trevor Gummer’s side 8-0 in the League Cup at Llanandras Park.

In fact, Llan’dod have held the indian sign over Presteigne St Andrews FC in cup competitions this season as we were beaten 3-1 at The Broadway in the third round of the FAW Trophy.

Tonight’s game is scheduled to kick off at 7.30pm and is the first of two scheduled league meetings in as many weeks as the return fixture at Llanandras Park will take place on Wednesday, 4 April.
