Knighton Town remain on course to defend the Presteigne Otway Cup title they won last season after they came through their semi-final tie on Sunday, 28 April.
The Radnor Robins proved too strong for Llandrindod Wells on the day as they ran out comfortable 3-0 winners at Llanandras Park.
While taking nothing away from Knighton who were by all accounts good value for their victory on the day, I am sure Llandrindod would possibly point to the fact some had spent much of the previous night celebrating their promotion from Spar Mid Wales division two, so they might not have been at their best.
But, as I say, this is to take nothing away from Knighton Town who got the job done and who will now meet Hay St Marys in this season’s Otway Cup Final.
That final will take place at Llanandras Park on Sunday, 12 May when the kick off will be at 2.30pm.
