As promised earlier in the week, there is now on offer a short video of Presteigne St Andrews FC’s Awards and Presentation evening.
This was held at the clubhouse on Saturday, 18 May and was hailed a great success by the vast majority of those who attended.
There was a host of presentations on the night, including bouquets of flowers to those ladies of the club who have done endless amounts of largely unrecognised work behind the scenes.
Then, there were the awards to those who have excelled on the pitch – the managers’ player-of-the-season awards, as well as the players’ player-of-the-season awards for both the first team and the Reserves.

From the outset, I am no Spielberg and this was cobbled together in about half an hour on Monday afternoon from film and images taken on my phone on the night, but I hope it gives those who weren’t able to get there some small flavour of what was a great night out.
