Presteigne St Andrews FC’s chairman Alan Randell tells me the plan is to hold the August draw for the 100 Club on Friday, 30 August.
This will take place at Presteigne Bowling Club at around 9.00pm – I say ‘around 9.00pm’ because this tends to be the plan, but it’s really down to whatever time the main protagonists can get there and sort things out.
Many thanks in anticipation of the Bowling Club hosting the draw and good luck to everyone who has their name in the hat.
This would seem to be an opportune moment to remind everyone that subscriptions for the 100 Club are due and committee members will be asking current members if they would like to renew their subscriptions.
These remain at £25.00 for the year – there is a draw which is generally held on the final Friday of each month at a different pub or club within the town.
