Presteigne Reserves will head to Penybont Athletic this evening with manager Barry Williams looking to his side to keep up the pressure on the league’s leading sides.

While the Reserves cruised past tonight’s opponents 9-0 in the first meeting of the season at Llanandras Park, Barry is expecting it to be tougher this evening.

He does, though, have a full squad from which to select and will be reasonably confident of coming away from the Racecourse with all three points.

There is a detailed preview of tonight’s game on the Reserves page of the site.

The kick off at Penybont tonight will be at 6.45pm and it is hoped to have a report up on the site either at some stage on Thursday evening or on Friday.

In last night’s Mid Wales League (South) action, Llandrindod Wells beat Sennybridge 5-0 at The Broadway while Talgarth Rovers were 1-0 winners at Rhayader Town Reserves.

Meanwhile, the original plan to play the Radnor Valley Cup final on Sunday 2 May has now been shelved.    The game between the Reserves and Radnor is now likely to be played on Sunday 9 May, possibly with an evening kick off so as to avoid a clash with the Otway Cup final at Llanandras Park.
