14 teams battled it out for the honour of being Presteigne St Andrews FC’s quiz champions, the curry went down very well, while there was more than a few who took the chance to exercise the vocal chords with the karaoke.
In short, the quiz and karaoke night held at the social club proved a huge success and was thoroughly enjoyed by those who took part.
The club would like to place on record our thanks to Amy Anning and Kelly Hodges-Small for all the hard work they put into organising the event and providing the curry which was, by all reports, excellent.
Also, our thanks go to all those organisations and individuals who gave prizes for the raffle, and to Len Hanslow for providing the karaoke.

A reminder to all quiz fans – the club’s Maundy Thursday quiz will again be taking place this year when Dot ‘Jeremy Paxman’ Griffiths will be asking the questions.
This will take place at the clubhouse on Thursday, 5 April 2012 and the usual good turnout of team is expected.
