The Spar Mid Wales League secretary Phil Woosnam has issued the fixtures up to and including Saturday, 14 April.
The main highlights of the latest additions to the schedule are that we will find ourselves playing midweek games against Radnorshire rivals Llandrindod Wells both home and away.
We already knew we were due to visit The Broadway on Wednesday, 21 March, but the latest fixtures have us hosting the Spa side two weeks later on Wednesday, 4 April.
That is now promising to be quite a week for the committee – Llan’dod at home on the Wednesday night, the Maundy Thursday quiz 24 hours later and then the Radnorshire Cup Final at Llanandras Park on Monday, 9 April.
There is no match scheduled for Easter Saturday – 7 April – presumably to prevent the pitch from taking too much punishment before Monday’s cup final, and also because the club is due to host its Rod Stewart Tribute night in the clubhouse on the Saturday evening.
In the other new fixture to be released, Presteigne will host a strong Llanfair United side at Llanandras Park on Saturday, 14 April.
