Just a reminder that Presteigne St Andrews FC’s Under 18s are in HFA Floodlit Youth League action this evening when they will take on Hinton at Llanandras Park (kick off 7.30pm).
There was a post about this game yesterday, but a lot has happened since then and there was a very real danger of this game being overlooked.
Roy Simcock’s side goes into the game with a determination to get things back on track after they were beaten 4-0 by league leaders Lads Club in their last outing.
To use and American sporting expression, the Under 18s are ‘one and one’ with Hinton this season – there was a Presteigne win at Broomy Hill in the first league meeting, but Hinton turned the tables in the Giantkillers Cup second-round tie when they won 1-0 at Llanandras Park.
So, a reminder, then – 7.30pm kick off this evening and I am certain Roy and the squad would welcome all the support they could get for this one.
