‘Rod Stewart’ duly rocked Llanandras Park to its foundations again when the tribute act played the clubhouse on Saturday, 7 April.
More than 100 people turned out for the evening and ‘Rod’ certainly didn’t disappoint as he went through the full range of the hits in a couple of lively sets.
My thanks to Paula Randell for providing me the photographic evidence of what was clearly a hugely successful night.
I have spoken to a number of friends and neighbours who were there and all of them said they really enjoyed the evening – some have already asked when the next one is likely to be.
Our grateful thanks to all committee members and friends of the club who provided food for the buffet and who undertook a lot of the other thankless jobs that go into making such a night work for everyone concerned.
Many thanks as well to those who bought tickets and supported the event – it is always something of a risk when organisations stage such evenings and your support is very much appreciated.
In particular, we should record our thanks to ‘Mr and Mrs Chairman’ – Alan and Paula for the hard work they put into what was a good evening out.
