Presteigne St Andrews FC’s Under 18s finished their HFA Floodlit Youth League season with a disappointing 4-1 home defeat against Leominster Minors.
Under 18s’ manager Roy Simcock admitted this had been a ‘very disappointing’ performance by his side, but the full details are yet to come through.
After a promising start to the season, unfortunately the Under 18s lost their way over the closing matches and so fell away in terms of their final league position.
Roy will doubtless send through a full match report in the fullness of time and when it arrives I will post it on the Under 18s’ page of the site.
In the meantime, many thanks to Roy and his assistants for their hard work with the Under 18s this season – thanks also to all those who have helped out at matches by doing the gate, running the bar or the tea hut and all the other jobs that go with ensuring the games go ahead without a hitch.
