Presteigne Juniors Under 14s will be playing on the big stage on Saturday, 12 May when they will head to Edgar Street for their Dave Howes Cup Final against Golden Valley.
While the Under 14s’ game won’t kick off until 3.15pm, it promises to be a quite a day as there are four games scheduled in total.
Under 14s’ boss Haydn Williams says the squad won’t be lacking support as they are planning on taking a coach to the ground, but there is still room on that coach if you would like to join them in cheering on the team on their big day.
“There are other games on beforehand which are listed below but we will only arrive to see the match before ours,” said Haydn.
“We are taking a coach and if people are interested can book with Sue on 01544 267183.
“We will be stopping for some food at Bush Bank – burgers, hot dogs and chips/salad all for the price of a tenner including the bus,” he added.
I am sure everyone connected with the club at all levels would like to wish the Under 14s the very best of luck in their final – here’s hoping they bring home the silverware from that one.
